My Two Front Teeth.... Well, One Anyway

One of my front teeth popped through today! Mommy was trying to get a picture of it, but I'm too quick for her. Mommy and I have been hanging out today because she has the day off work. It's just like old times.

Hooray for my front tooth!

Can't you see it now, mom?

That camera looks like a fun toy. Here I come!

New Toys

I've been playing with some new toys lately. Well, mommy says one isn't a toy. It's Uncle Ryan's Blackberry. It has lots of fun buttons and a cool picture of a car.

Maybe I'm not ready to play with big people toys yet.
They are confusing!

Mommy's friend LaShaun got me a toy! It's a farm set, and I love to listen to the music and shove all the animals off the spinning circle. Mommy says I'm such a boy.

And guess what else? Mommy and daddy told me they see my two front teeth coming! They haven't popped out yet, so mommy says we can't count them, but she says it won't be long before they're out.

My First Tattoo

That shot the doctor gave me worked. Sunday morning I started feeling better, and today mommy said I'm back to my smiley self. Good thing I was able to go back to daycare - Barb gave us tattoos today! Mine is a spider. But it's not a real tattoo because it came off when mommy wiped me off after supper.

Aunt Christa is trying to make me feel better. This is when I still didn't feel good and had a fever. Look at the funny wash cloth on my head!

Munching on some crackers and showing off my tattoo!

You can see it better here.

Hooray, I am feeling better!

Big Shot

Just when I thought I was getting better... I had to go back to the doctor. Today daddy took me because I had another fever and was really fussy - I couldn't tell him that my ears hurt again! The doctor said that because my medicine from before didn't get rid of my ear infection, and because I have infections in both ears now, I had to get a shot. It was really big and it wasn't fast like my other shots. I'm still not feeling great, but the doctor said I should be dramastically (that's my dad's word) better by tomorrow morning. I hope so!

Mom took my shirt off to cool me down. See my color band-aid?

Mom and dad never let me watch TV, but I got to this afternoon because I wasn't feeling good.

Daddy had to get a video of me sleeping on mommy, because I don't do that very much.

Yummy

Because I'm getting bigger I've been able to try some new foods. I've tried hamburger, yogurt, and cheese. My daycare lady fed me chocolate cake (which I really liked) but mommy was not happy and said "no more chocolate cake." Darn it! Here's a video of daddy feeding me watermelon. It tasted OK, but as you can see, I had enough.

Mommy says some of you can't watch my videos, so here are some pictures of me from today.

I'm Baaaack

Here I am again! I am feeling better and ready to blog again. I was going to blog earlier, but I've been at daycare during the day, and when mommy picks me up I just want to hang out with her and daddy. Plus, mommy left the camera at school, so we couldn't take any pictures.

Here's the new sound I love to make with Grandpa.

Sick of it!

I'm not feeling too good. I have pink eye, an ear infection, and a cold. Daddy stayed home with me yesterday and this morning mommy hung out with me. And now I'm hanging out with daddy trying to get better. I'm so tired of drops and medicine and kleenex. And that stupid blue booger sucker that I thought was gone for good.

I'll write again when I feel better!

Biker Boy

Grandpa came back from Sturgis yesterday, and I got a t-shirt! It sounds like he had a good time, and he says some day I can have a motorcycle ride.

I've got a motorcycle shirt!

Thanks for the shirt Grandpa.

Hey, what is this scratchy stuff on your face?

Here's a closeup of my shirt.

Mommy and I have had a tough day. She is sad because she goes back to work tomorrow, and is going to miss me. I'm going to miss her too!

And I've had a fever, a runny nose and have been kind of cranky. Daddy and mommy aren't sure what's the matter, they said it might be teeth, or it might be a cold. I guess we'll wait and see!

Aunt Rissa Returns

Aunt Rissa is back from Turkey (or as Kaden says, Jerkey). She came to my house today, so I was able to show her how I scoot around. We hung out, and then went to the park. I'm glad she is back, and mommy and daddy are too.

I am more excited than I look. It was nap time.

Aunt Rissa took these pictures in Turkey. I don't know what they are, but they are pretty!

8 Months Old

I am 8 months old already! Mommy weighed me, and I weigh 20 pounds. She says all that scooting around must be burning lots of energy. She said she might start scooting around with me too.

This is the best picture mom got of me.

Because then I saw my books...

And decided I needed to scoot over and check them out.

I love Brown Bear, Brown Bear!

I'm Worn Out

Since Aunt Rissa is in Turkey, Kaden and Mateo have been playing at our house the last three days. We have had so much fun together, but I am pooped. And I think mommy is too. Good thing Aunt Rissa will be back tomorrow!

Kaden is trying to help me crawl.

I get to play dinosaurs with the boys!

I can't get mine to roar, so I will just eat it.

Mommy got a bunch of new toys from a toy library!

Mateo and I are racing our cars.

Grandpa left for Sturgis early this morning - I hope he is driving safe! And guess what? My Nana hasn't smoked in one year! We are very proud of her. I love you Nana!

That's Old!

Last time I was at Grandma and Grandpa's I sat in the Paulson highchair. Grandma said that I am the 4th generation Paulson to sit in it. I have no idea what a generation is or how to count to 4, but mom and dad said that it's special.

Grandpa feeding me my peas.

Nana says I'm like a little birdie, always ready for more!

I love this highchair!

Scoot, Scoot

I want to crawl so bad, but I can't figure out how to get on my knees. Mom and dad say don't worry about it, and to go ahead and take my time. I am working on scooting, and between scooting and rolling I can usually get where I want.

Mommy taped me trying to get my ball today. I was a little upset I couldn't get it, but I kept trying and I finally got there!

There you are, my precious.

Oh dear, there went the yellow one.

Shoot, now the blue one too.

Mommy, do I have to do that again??
