Mommy is on vacation in Florida right now, so since I don't have help to do my blog, the blog is on vacation too! See ya later alligator!

Swimming

Yesterday I went swimming because it was hot, hot, hot out! We tried to go to one pool first but it was at capacity. Aunt Rissa says that means everyone is hot and wants to go swimming. Then we went to another pool that wasn't too deep for me to walk around with mommy in. Swimming is way more fun than being in my tub!

I have my sunscreen on, I'm ready to go! Mommy rubbed it in a little better later.

Later we went to grandma and grandpa's, and we also saw Aunt Christa and Uncle Ryan there!

The Dentist

Yesterday I went to the dentist for the first time. At first I thought I was just going to play with Kaden and Mateo in the waiting room, but then I went back to a different room and sat in a cool chair that goes up and down! Dr. Jessie wanted to look at my teeth.... at first I wasn't sure about that, but then I let her take a peak. She says I have all of my teeth except my 2-yr molars. Well yeah, I'm not two yet! =)

Fun in Iowa

Mommy and I have been at my Nana and Papa's house for a few days now, and boy am I having fun! There is way more to do here than at my house, and I've had lots of people to play with.

Mommy wondered who Papa was watching when I got in the pool with my clothes and shoes on. But Papa lets me have lots of fun!

I have a new friend! Papa has been taming a wild kitty, and last night I got to meet it. I think the kitty really likes me, because it kept hanging out by the door and looked like it wanted to come in.

Uncle Greg

Uncle Greg came over to visit us this week. Aunt Rissa, Kaden and Mateo are in Colorado for a vacation and I think he misses them. But that's OK with me, because it means I get more tickles from the tickle monster!!

All By Myself

I think mom and dad forget that I'm getting bigger and can do things all by myself. Mommy cut up some apple for me for a snack, but I wasn't interested in the cut up pieces, I wanted to eat it by myself just like I see her and daddy do. Isn't that what my big, beautiful teeth are for?!

My Stroller

Boy, have I been having lots of fun with my new stroller from Nolan and his grandma. At first I just pushed Baby Jess around in it, but now all my other animals want rides too.

My friends don't want to take turns, so I'll have to push them all at once.

Up, Up and Away!

On Saturday I got to see a balloon race with grandpa, grandma, Brooklynn and mom and dad. Have you seen one before? I hadn't, so it was pretty cool. There were big balloons all over the place, and people inside the balloons too!!

Full House

This weekend Mommy had friends from college come over to stay, which means I had all sorts of people to play with. The house sure was quiet this morning when I woke up... I miss everyone and mommy said she does too.

Ben is showing me and Joy how this toy works. I think Joy already knew, she was just being a good listener.

Sam and I are cooking up a storm. He showed me how to put food in my blender and watch it spin around and around. That's Sam's sister Matilda watching us.

Sam and I are reading some books before bedtime.

Nolan stopped again on his way back to his house and gave me this stroller for baby Jess! His grandma had an extra one that she said I could have. Thank you Nolan! Tell your grandma thank you too!

Butterflies

Last week I went to the Butterfly House with grandma and Brooklynn. I kind of remember going there last year, but this time I got to walk around and check things out for myself. And I'm really good at spotting things flying around in the air.

Knock Knock

Who's there? It's me! Last night when mommy and daddy were in the dining room talking I surprised them by crawling out of my crib and opening my door to peek out and say hi. Well, I think they were a little scared at first. Then I got to stay up for a little bit while daddy took the soft part out of my crib and got his tools out to make it harder for me to climb out.

That didn't stop me either because I'm a little monkey just like the monkeys in my room! I came out a few more times during the night just to make sure everyone was doing OK. But then mommy got mad just like my "Just Go To Bed" book and said to stay in bed. I was tired after all that monkey business so I did.

And this morning I was all ready to go to Angela's and tell everyone about my new tricks, so I had mommy put on my shoes and I got my hat on too, but mommy reminded me that today it was just me and her and both of us would probably be taking naps. Awww man!

I can go to daycare in my pjs, it's OK.
