More Birthday Fun

Yesterday was my cousin Mateo's birthday party. He is 2 years old now! Here is a picture of me with the birthday boy - it was hard to get him to slow down for a picture. He had too many new things to play with, and lots of cake and yogurt to eat. See the drool on my shirt? Mommy and daddy think I may be getting teeth, but really, I just wanted some of the cake.

And here is the cake that Aunt Rissa made. Mommy says she will ask her to make a cake for my first birthday. She's still feeling bad about the shamrock cross on my baptism cake.

And to top off the birthday fun, Mateo was singing us songs, and mommy caught just a little bit of him singing the end of Bob the Builder. And then he was "all done!"

Happy Birthday Mateo!

Baptism

I got baptized today! Lots of people who love me came to see my big day. I was pretty good during the whole thing. I'm not sure why Pastor Nate put more water on my head, because daddy did that to me this morning when I got a bath!

Me with my sponsors, Uncle Ryan and Aunt Christa, and Pastor Nate.

Then everyone came to my house afterwards and we had a party. The food looked good, but do you think I got any of it?!?

I'm sure you recognize grandpa and grandma, cousin Brooklynn and Christa.

There's Nana and Papa.

These fine ladies are my great grandmothers!

So, I had a big day. And you want to know another reason this day is special (besides Uncle Greg's birthday). It was this day last year that mommy found out she was pregnant and going to have me!

The Bumbo

My mommy got a bumbo seat from her friend, and I've been sitting in it. I'm getting pretty good at sitting up. Mommy says my head doesn't bobble around as much as it used to. She also said maybe she'll set up the high chair that uncle Ryan and aunt Christa gave me.

And guess what happens this weekend? I'm getting baptized! Mommy and daddy said it's a very special day.

Birthday Fun

I got to celebrate two birthdays this weekend! We went to my friend Selene's birthday party on Saturday. She is two and boy, it looks like fun to be that old! I really wanted to play with the colorful floor blocks that we gave her, but mommy said it's not OK to play with a present before you give it to someone. It looked like Selene really liked them.

And yesterday was also my mommy's birthday! So here is a picture of me in my mommy shirt, just for her. Guess what present I gave mommy? I have been sleeping through the night again! Mommy says it's the best present I could give her, besides me of course. =)

And just so you know, I can button these jeans.

I'm still holding a grudge about those blocks.

Get Well Soon Grandpa!

My grandpa had surgery on his shoulder this week. And even though it hurts, he still wanted to hold me and snuggle with me. Not only are we Paulson men handsome, but tough too.

Get well soon Grandpa, we've got playing to do!

My Girlfriend

My friend Mia came over last night for our second date. I hadn't seen her in such a long time - she's gotten pretty cute!

I think I'll just sneak my hand over here....

Play it cool.... maybe she'll be my girlfriend?

Oh no! Something went terribly wrong!

It's these stupid purple lips, isn't it.

Three Months Old

I'm three months old already! I went on the scale with daddy and I weigh 17 pounds now. This onesie is fitting really nice now. See my purple mouth? I have thrush and we are trying to get rid of it.

Here's my 3 month picture, along with 2 months. Mommy says I'm getting taller and I'm lucky I have daddy's legs.

My Daddy is Funny

Tonight daddy was making funny faces and noises at me and I started laughing. I don't think mommy and daddy thought it was a laugh at first, but then they ran for the camera! (I don't laugh as loud as mommy does!)

That's Tight, Yo

Yesterday my godparents (Aunt Christa and Uncle Ryan) came over to visit me. They brought mom and dad a big box of wipes from Sams and daddy asked mommy if he could start using them too. Mommy gave him the mommy look and said "no."

If you look closely in that picture you can see the button of my jeans is not buttoned. Mommy says it's OK, that sometimes she has to unbutton her pants too.
