It's my daddy's birthday today!! I love him soooo much and mommy says I am so lucky to have such a great daddy. I think so too.

Daycare Bites Rerun

It happened again - I got bit at daycare! I know I'm a cute looking fella and everyone wants a piece of me, but hey, I don't want to get bit.

Mommy noticed that today I also got another tooth! She said maybe I should stop getting new teeth, because it seems to happen on the same day.

So Big

Mommy took me to the doctor today for my checkup. I am 21 lb 8 oz (75th) and 29 inches (75th). I guess my head is still big, but my nurse told me all babies have big heads.

And... last night I crawled just a tiny bit, and mom got it on the other camera. But tonight when Grandma and Grandpa were here I tested out this crawling thing again and mommy taped me with the other camera. I'm still not sure crawling is for me since I can get places faster by my army crawl, but maybe I'll keep practicing.

I'm always chasing after balls!

Daddy is also having me practice walking. That's even more work than crawling!

Mommy told me it would happen if I started wishing all my relatives Happy Birthday - that I would probably forget someone. And she said she would try to remind me, but that she forgets to look at her calendar.

Sooooo, a belated Happy Birthday to my Aunt Christa!

And, while I'm at it (before I forget) Happy Birthday to Brooklynn on Wednesday!

Mommy says we're going to the doctor tomorrow for my 9-month checkup. So, I'll be able to tell you how much I weigh, and how tall I am tomorrow, or Thursday if I don't get it done before my bedtime. =)

Great Grandma Ardis

Today my Great Grandma Ardis is turning 75 years old! We celebrated her birthday yesterday and boy, it was a full day. First we went to church with grandma, and my second cousin Emmelia was baptized, then we had cake in the church basement. Then we went to a park for more food and celebrating. There was so much going on, and I had a fun time.

The whole family: great grandma, her kids, her kids' kids, and their kids! Only 3 people are missing from this picture because they live in Oklahoma.

9 Months Old

I'm already 9 months old! I can tell mommy and daddy want me to slow down a bit. That darn birthday onesie came out of my dresser again. Mom had to be really quick taking my picture because I don't like to sit still. I can scoot all over the place now!

Daycare Bites

I got my other front tooth yesterday! Even though I don't chew a lot of things, I love to open and close my mouth a lot when I'm eating because that's what I see everyone else doing.

One of my friends at daycare has teeth too, and yesterday he bit me with them! I thought he was coming over to give me a kiss (you know how I like kissing!) and instead he chomped into my cheek. Mommy said he didn't mean to, that I just look good enough to eat. And then she made sure to get a picture of it.

I know my cheeks look scrumptious, but they are not for eating!

The Objects of My Affection

Aunt Rissa, Kaden and Mateo came over to have supper with us tonight. I haven't been able to play with them in awhile, and I was feeling very affectionate with Kade and Aunt Rissa.

Family and Floors

Oh man, it's been a busy few days! Mom and dad have been changing our kitchen floor, and because I love to scoot around and get in to everything, I went to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa for a few nights.

I love to try and stand. And Brooklynn was holding this book, but you know how I love books!

This is the floor that mom and dad were tired of.

And this is our new kitchen floor. Doesn't it look like fun to scoot around on?

After all that work, we decided to go to a parade for Labor Day. I've never been to a parade before! It was supposed to be my nap time, but I was way too interested in what was going on. There were tractors, fire trucks, and people throwing out candy. I can't wait until I can run after candy like Kaden, Mateo and Selene.
