My Birthday!

It's my birthday today!! I'm not sure what is supposed to happen, but I do know all about birthday cake. Mommy says we'll have my party this weekend and today I got to bring birthday cupcakes to Angela's. I think I saw some birthday cake on the counter too, but when I tried to pull off the foil to look I got in trouble. So I guess I have to wait and see if that's birthday cake too. Yum yum for birthdays!

Mommy says I can do one more post on my blog about being 2 years old (I'll be too busy with presents to do that tonight!) Then she says my blog is moving to a new home too. So from now on you can read about my family here.

Banana Bread Baking

My grandma makes the best banana bread ever! And she says that I'm a good helper, so last time she made it I was the assistant.

I am counting the pans for grandma, she knows I love to count!

Frosty the Snowman

I'm living with a lot of people right now, and another person came to live with us - Frosty the Snowman! I think he's part of Christmas, and I'm really liking Christmas so far.

Grandpa says he is going to wake up Frosty.

Hmmmm, Frosty sure looks big, I don't know if I feel safe on my bike.

So I'll finish watching him grow on grandpa's lap.

Thanksgiving... and then Christmas!

Thanksgiving is over. For part of the weekend I went to Iowa to see Nana, Papa, Greg, Rissa, Kade and Tao. Emma wasn't able to come from Colorado but mommy says she will be home for Christmas. I had lots of fun running around with Kaden and Tao and eating lots of bread (mmmm, I love bread).

Kaden also let me wear his dancing Christmas hat. I would have played with it all day, but everyone else got tired of the song, so daddy put the hat up high where I couldn't reach. I guess Christmas is coming next. (But not before my birthday!!)

Beckett the Student

Mommy has wanted to show my new tricks for awhile, but our camera isn't working to take video, and you know how my mommy likes to take videos of me so she can share them with you. I have been learning lots of new things at daycare from Angela and Miss Karsyn. She's only 3, but she sure is a good teacher!

Counting. I can count to 10 and sometimes 12, but I decided I wanted money instead.

Welcome Home Grandpa!

Grandpa came back home today! He was gone for awhile having an owie on his knee fixed. Daddy said he was getting a brand new knee. Mommy said that Great Grandma Ardis got a brand new knee this week too - am I missing out on something here? Anyway, I missed grandpa while he was gone and I think he missed me a little bit too.

I can still sit in the chair with grandpa, but now I have to be extra careful and gentle.

Daycare Happenings

Mommy says it's been awhile since I've shared what I've been up to at daycare. Since Angela is so good about taking my picture we always have a bunch to choose from!

Man, this chair is comfy! I think it matches my shirt too.

Miss Karsyn is teaching us about shapes and patterns. I know circle and triangle!

Trick or Treat Smell My Feet

This year for Halloween I got to dress up as Thomas the Train - my favorite! Want to know what was even better? Going around and getting candy from people! It didn't take me long to figure out those magic "trick or treat" words. I can't wait for Halloween to come around again.

Day 1 of Halloween fun we stopped at dad's work and got candy. I.love.suckers.

And the next day people gave me candy from the trunks of their cars! Very weird.

We got our pumpkins done in time to set out for the trick or treaters.

Selene came over to trick or treat with me. She sang me a funny song about treats and smelly feet.

Bath Art

Did you know that you can color in the bath tub? I didn't!! Well, mommy says they are special crayons that are only for the tub. Whatever they are I had fun coloring during my bath tonight!
