Me and My Dad

I like to hang out with daddy a lot. Don't get me wrong, I really love my mommy, but daddy and I love to act silly together. He can always get me to laugh and smile! If dad has to feed me a bottle it always takes longer because I think it's play time. Here are some pictures of me and daddy having fun.

Look at me, I'm flying!

He tells the best stories!

I love you daddy.

Jumperoo

My mommy talked to Nolan's mommy about his jumperoo and guess who has a jumperoo now?? I really like to play in it. Thank you Nolan's mommy for talking my mommy into getting the jumperoo. There's so many fun things on it, I love it!

There's this fun little monkey....

"Peek-a-boo!"

And here's a spinny thing...

And this animal that I can't reach no matter how hard I try.

"Mom, are you gonna stop taking pictures and help me here?"

Black, White and Pink

Mommy took some of the pictures we took the other day and made them in to a nice collage picture. You can click on it to make it bigger if you want.

And good thing it's in black and white, otherwise you might be able to tell I have pink eye! I went to the doctor today and have drops. I don't think I had it on Saturday when mommy took these pictures... but maybe. Daddy is staying home with me tomorrow and we're going to have a boys' day.

Vroom Vroom

I forgot to tell you we got a new van. Mommy says now we have room for brothers and sisters for me. Dad says "Woah, slow down mommy!"

Woo hoo! Where are we off to?

OK, this is really my spot in the van.

Mommy doesn't understand how I can look so happy after 4 hours in the car!

I'm Ready For My Closeup

This afternoon I was playing with mommy and daddy. I found my toes recently and I love to grab them! Mommy took lots of pictures of me and said I should share them.

The Roll Over

We got out the old video camera this afternoon to tape my roll over so that I can share it on my blog! Don't listen to closely at the beginning when I let out a toot. ;-)

Solid Work

Alright, I know you want to see the video of me rolling over. Mommy says we have to buy a cord so we can transfer it to the computer, because we got a new video camera and that's what we taped it on. For now, here are some pictures from me eating cereal for the third time!

It's more fun to push it out of my mouth!

Hey, this is hard enough without you shoving a camera in my face!

Big Week

Well, I have lots of news to share. I've been waiting for mom to download some of my pictures, but she is taking too long so I'm just going to tell you. I'm sure mommy will get her act together soon.

This last weekend was a big deal for me. I was in Des Moines visiting Aunt Emma and mommy and daddy's friends Joy and Chris. On Saturday they had me on my tummy and had the video camera out, and guess what they captured? My first roll over! I did a lot of screaming, because I really don't like being on my tummy. I probably would have done it earlier, but mom and dad kept putting me on my back thinking I was supposed to roll from my back to my tummy. Then the doctor straightened them out at my last visit. Hey, we have to be patient with mommy and daddy... they are just learning!

Then on Sunday I tried cereal for the first time. I spit most of it out, but was able to eat a little. Not too bad! It's a lot more work than nursing though... we'll see about this cereal business.

And today is my grandpa's birthday. Happy Birthday Grandpa! He just gets more handsome by the day, just like me!

This Just In

I went for my four-month checkup today. I weigh 17 pounds 8 ounces and am 26 1/4 inches tall. I'm in the 90th percentile for weight and height. I also got more shots, but daddy said I was really good about having them.

Mommy said I get to start having cereal now! I guess that means mommy and daddy will really have to set up my high chair, instead of saying they are going to.

Here are some pictures of grandma playing with me this weekend.

Grandma is really strong to hold me up like this. I'm getting close to 18 pounds you know!

Grandma is telling me a story, and I'm listening really well, just like she always listens to me.

Four Months Old

I am four months old today! And guess what?? I still fit in my onesie! Dad stepped on the scale with me, and I am still 17 pounds, so I might be leveling off a bit now. I go to the doctor on Wednesday to get shots, and see how much I weigh and how tall I am. Mommy is also going to ask the doctor if it's possible that I could be teething. I am living up to my "Captain Drool" onesie that mommy's friend Shannon gave me!

Four months on the left, three months on the right.

Remember when I was this little?! Here is my one month picture.
